Flower & Plant Care

Caring for your fresh BLOOMS in box

Place your arrangement indoors, away from any direct sunlight, heating or air-conditioning system.

  • Please don’t place them directly under ceiling fans, on top of televisions or radiators.
  • Keep the arrangement in a cool spot (18 to 22 degrees Celsius).
  • Hat box arrangements: Add a cup of water (tea cup) every other day starting from the middle into the base of the box. If needed, re-cut the stems by removing one inch with shears at a 45 -degree angle then place back into the water-soaked foam.

Caring for your fresh BLOOMS in vase (or bouquet arrangements transferred in vases)

  • Check the water level daily and change the water every other day.
  • Re-cut the stems by removing one inch with shears at a 45 -degree angle then place back into the water filled vase.
  • Flowers are very delicate in nature and need to be taken care of after being presented to you.
  • They no longer live in soil where they belong and their new home is with you for some time.

Phalaenopsis Orchid Plant Care

  • A moderately bright windowsill or similar spot to grow in.
  • Watering when it begins to dry out, usually every 7 to 10 days.
  • When potted it is critical that the orchid roots be able to breathe.
  • Fertilizing with a fertilizer made for orchids.
  • Repotting when the bloom is finished with fresh orchid mix.

Succulents Plant Care

  • Place in a brightly lit room.
  • Water when soil is dry. (About 7-10 days)
  • Use good quality potting soil, change it every year.
  • Choose a container with drainage.

Mums Plant Care

  • Chrysanthemum or Mums container care continues in your home or office.
  • It is best to repot it. Move it to a slightly larger container with good, fertile potting soil.
  • Gently remove it from its store pot and break the roots up as best as you can.
  • Chrysanthemum is going to want a lot of water. Since its root ball is probably very tight, set the pot in a dish of water for a few hours.
  • Make sure to take it out of the dish after a few hours, though, or the plant could drown. From then on, you can water from above every day or so.
  • Mums requires plenty of sun, so place your container in a south-facing window or a spot outside that receives at the very least 4 hours of sun per day.

Potted Calla Lily Plant Care

  • Keep the soil moist, but not soggy.
  • Provide bright, indirect light.
  • Apply liquid fertilizer monthly while in flower
  • Keep away from heating and ac vents
  • Reduce watering when the plant enters dormancy
  • Cut the leaves off at soil level once they’ve died
  • Allow calla bulbs to rest in a cool, dark area during dormancy
  • Repot annually
